Knapp Hicks are able to offer cost-effecitve geotechnical and geo-environmental walkover surveys; through desk studies and detailed intrusive ground investigations, providing interpretation of ground conditions to enable correct and timely advice for architects, developers, and private land-owners.

The volume of work that we undertake in this area permits us to negotiate preferential drilling and laboratory testing rates for our customers.

Geoenvironmental Appraisals

Knapp Hicks undertake risk based assessments of requirements for reclamation and remediation of contaminated land, provide advice relating to current legislation, and offer liaison services between developers, architects, private land-owners, etc., and regulatory bodies i.e. The Environmental Agency and Local Authorities.
